Has More Paid Advertisers than Patch.com and The Local
NEW PROVIDENCE, N.J., June 1 // -- TheAlternativePress.com, New Jersey's all-online hyperlocal daily newspaper, expanded to Chatham Borough and Chatham Township today, now covering ten communities, the most of any all-online daily local news site in New Jersey. The hyperlocal green-friendly newspaper now has more paid local advertisers than Tim Armstrong's Patch.com and The Local, owned by The New York Times. TheAlternativePress.com also covers Millburn/Short Hills, Westfield, Summit, New Providence, Berkeley Heights, Livingston, and Madison.
Since its launch in October, TheAlternativePress.com has received more than 10 million hits. The site had over 60,000 unique users in May alone. Readership has more than doubled since March. According to Alexa.com, The Alternative Press has significantly increased its ranking among the world's websites.
