Disc Protection Device Will Be Available in Best Buy Stores March 26th
VERONA, Wis., March 9 -DiscDefender Game Defender, a new product created to protect video game discs from accidental scratches and overuse, will soon be available in Best Buy stores nationwide. The continuing explosion in popularity of videogame discs has led to a corresponding increase in frustrating scratches and nicks - disc damage that can interrupt gamers at the worst possible time.
The product is a clear composite film that protects the disc from damage while allowing the system's laser to read through it. DiscDefender Game Defender will be available in all Best Buy stores on March 26th, 2006.

It takes just two seconds for the gamer to apply DiscDefender Game Defender's protective film to the bottom side of a game disc. Once in place, it stays there, thanks to a specially formulated "adhesion ring" which holds DiscDefender Game Defender securely to the DVD without permanently bonding to it. The adhesion ring conforms to the size of the disc, allowing it to be used in all DVD and CD-based game systems including Xbox(R), Xbox 360(R), PS1(R) and PS2(R).
DiscDefender Game Defender has been designed and tested for use on all disc medium, including game CDs/DVDs, CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs and audio CDs. It will not impact audio or visual quality when the CD/DVD is used.
