Vice President of Product Management
SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 2 // -- Meez, (http://www.meez.com), a leading social entertainment community, today announced the promotions of two internal team members. Keith Neal, former Senior Software Engineer, has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer and Jean Teather has been elevated to VP of Product Management from her former role as Director of Product Management. "Keith and Jean are both tremendous assets to the Meez team and we are excited to announce their well earned promotions," said John Cahill, President of Meez.
Keith Neal is the lead developer for Meez's proprietary 3D rendering technology as well as a key developer of the company's multi-tiered server architecture. As CTO, reporting to John Cahill, Neal is responsible for the stewardship and management of the diversely talented software development and quality assurance teams at Meez. With prior roles at Pulse Entertainment and Freestyle Interactive, Neal has 10 years experience at the forefront of games, multimedia, and 3D software development on the web. He holds a BA in Mathematics from San Francisco State University and an MA in Mathematics from UC Santa Cruz and also teaches math courses at the City College of San Francisco.
As Vice President of Product Management for Meez, Jean Teather brings a great deal of experience in product development and the production of engaging online entertainment, sports and games products. Most recently prior to Meez, Teather held a VP of product role at online games publisher and operator Outspark, and prior to that she led the product team at the number one casual games site, Yahoo! Games. Teather's expertise also extends into advertising, where she has successfully delivered innovative online sales and marketing solutions for such brands as McDonald's, Budweiser, Coke and Philips. She will also report to John Cahill.
